Last October 18, 2009 the freshmen NSTP students of the AMA Computer Learning Center Davao held its Community Outreach Program at Times Beach Resort, Ecoland here in the city. This is in line with its thrust to render service and reach out to the community. The said venue was chosen because it is one of the resorts in the city that needs clean-up drive due to sanitation problems. The said event was participated by more than 200 freshmen students under the advisory of Vanezza B. Ferniz and Ronalea I. Talaboc; both guided and supervised the students.

          Moreover, the students had a challenging yet fun time doing the activity. ‘’Ma’am, grabeh jud ang mga basura, mga sanitary napkins kay ginalabay lang sa daplin,’’ clamored one student. On the lighter side, after the activity the students could not decide which camera they should focus their attention to- everyone was busy taking pictures with their classmates and friends. Indeed, it was a worthwhile activity.
